Physicians within our Heart and Vascular Center sometimes need to do a special procedure to improve blood flow when there is blockage to the heart. We see patients ages 30 to 90.
When open heart surgery is not called for, our team of five interventional radiologists may perform a variety of procedures including balloon angioplasty, stent placement, abdominal aortic aneurysm stent grafting, vascular clot removals, plaque removal and any combination of these and other vascular treatments and interventions.
Special Procedures has the most experienced vascular staff in the region, with combined 125-plus years of experience. Radiologists are all fellowship trained and lead a staff that focuses on both diagnostic and intervention. Three vascular surgeons and 10 cardiologists complete our expertise in heart and vascular care.
Our state-of-the-art 3D imaging provides the most comprehensive pictures, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment.
