Living Well Fitness staff
Brittany: Brittany has a B.S. in Nutrition Science and is currently pursuing a Masters in Exercise Science at Troy. Brittany works health fairs, writes our newsletter, implements our events and challenges, works with our ScreenTech wellness program, and heads our Category 2 and 3 intervention program.
Caroline: Caroline has an AA and AS in Education, a B.S. in Heath and Physical Education, and is NESTA Certified. She is a Certified Zumba and Zumba Gold Instructor and teaches multiple group exercise classes including our AM classes: Power Half Hour, Zumba, and Pilates. Caroline also teaches our Senior classes: Young Hearts, Zumba Gold, and Silver Sneakers, and Silver Sneakers Yoga. Caroline is over our Silver Sneakers Program: doing outreach, setting up fitness assessments, and training sessions.
Danny: Danny is NFPT Certified Personal Trainer and Sports Nutritionist. Danny teaches the afternoon classes Body Blast, Bosu, Exercise 101, Core and Legs, and Fitness Extreme at LWF. He also does personal and specialized training sessions, and teaches classes at SAMC's Neuromuscular Rehab/Balance Center and works with post physical therapy patients. Danny is all about total body health and believes a full body work out includes cardio, weight lifting, yoga, and healthy eating!
Eleanor: Eleanor is a certified Zumba and Kickboxing instructor. She teaches our Friday Zumba class and Saturday Zumba and Kickboxing classes.
Gina: Gina is a Certified Zumba Instructor and an ASFA Certified Group Fitness/Boot Camp Instructor. She teaches our afternoon Zumba classes, is a team health representative, and helps out with the afternoon Boot Camp Classes.
Kaylon: Kaylon has a B.S. in Science and Exercise Physiology. Kaylon was our intern during the summer and came on as a Team Health Representative in August 2014. Kaylon teaches multiple group exercise classes and plans to host a Sports Training Camp next summer.
Lakin: Lakin has a B.S. in Food and Nutrition with Hospitality Management. She is the team leader of the childhood obesity prevention program, Kohl's Kids Fit for Life, based in local elementary schools. Lakin does nutrition counseling, nutrition assessments, and meal planning for LWF members.
Rachel: Rachel has a B.S. in Exercise Science, M.S. in Sports and Fitness Management, and ACSM certified Health Fitness Specialist. She is the team leader of Living Well Fitness overseeing its programs, membership options, and working closely with SAMC's Diabetes Support Groups and Neuromuscular Rehab/Balance Center.
