SAMC radiologist inducted as Fellow in national organization

Charles Hugh Holloway, MD, recently received one of the highest honors a radiologist can 8696HollowayHugh310x153 receive by being recognized as a fellow of the American College of Radiology (ACR).

Dr. Holloway, a partner at Radiology Associates in Dothan and a Southeast Alabama Medical Center staff radiologist, was bestowed the honor at a formal convocation ceremony during the ACR Annual Meeting and Chapter Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. in April. ACR Fellows demonstrate a history of service to the ACR, organized radiology, teaching or research. Approximately 10 percent of the organization’s members achieve this distinction.

Dr. Holloway is also a member of the American Society of Neuroradiology, the Alabama Academy of Radiology and the Houston County Medical Society. He received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama’s College of Medicine in Mobile.

The ACR is a national nonprofit association serving more than 34,000 radiologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians and medical physicists with programs focusing on the practice of radiology and the delivery of comprehensive health care services.
