Rehabilitation: Should you need rehabilitations services after your treatment, you can be evaluated and given a customized therapy program through SAMC. The hospital offers a complete range of inpatient and outpatient services including physical, speech and occupational therapy.

Home Care:  If you need extra help when you’re recovering at home, SAMC has a home care program that might be right for you.

Home Medical Equipment: Sometimes having the right kind of equipment at home can help you manage everyday tasks a little easier, keep you functioning independently and help improve your quality of life. If you’d like to shop for items such as walkers, reachers, bathroom items or any other adaptive household items, shop confidently with SAMC.

Support: Having someone to talk to, to share your story, your fears, your hopes and concerns can ease the stress of illness and injury. SAMC provides a network of patient and family support groups.

Out-of-Town Patients:  Many patients and their families come from outside the Dothan area for treatment at the NeuroSpine Center and Southeast Alabama Medical Center because it is the area’s most comprehensive and preferred treatment center.

New Prescriptions and Prescription Refills: Please contact the NeuroSpine Center during regular office hours with prescription refill requests.  We will make every effort to phone in your prescriptions before the end of the day.  No calls for prescriptions or prescription re-fills will be taken after regular office hours.
