SAMC offers speech-language pathologist, who is a licensed professional and is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and trained to evaluate and treat a variety of communication and swallowing disorders for all ages. Our speech pathologists have a master's degree and are licensed by the state of Alabama. They have also achieved the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Modified barium swallow studies to identify swallowing problems and assist with planning treatment
