HEART HEALTH PROGRAM FOR WOMEN

Smart women need to know that heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases are the No. 1 killer of American women, claiming more than 450,000 lives each year. On Thursday, February 25, Dr. Andreas Muench will present a program in the Calvary Baptist Church fellowship hall to help women identify the risk factors of heart disease. Dr. Muench’s talk will also familiarize women with the facts about how heart disease symptoms are different in women and educate women on some unique warning signs of a heart attack. Cost for the event, including a heart-healthy dinner, is $20. The evening begins at 5 p.m. and includes exercise demonstrations, nutrition tips, door prizes, shopping with local vendors, dinner and the talk by Dr. Muench. To register, call (334) 793-8143.
