Flexible Spending Accounts
Contributions are deducted on a pre-tax basis from each paycheck and put into a "savings" account with BCBS of Alabama. Health Care and Dependent Care accounts are available. Health Care Spending Account participants will be issued a "Preferred Flex Card" that can be used for eligible products and services that are reimbursable under the Flexible Spending Account.
