Preschool Program
2 1/2 years to 5 years

The Preschool classrooms are "child-centered" in that the children are encouraged to direct their individual learning. Learning Centers allow children to choose their own activity (math, science, language, music, home living, manipulatives, etc.). The teachers act as facilitators by encouraging exploration of the materials individually or in groups.

Lesson plans are prepared by the teachers each week to include specific structured instruction in the areas of art, movement and games, reading and writing readiness, math, science, cooking, etc.

All Preschool teachers are certified in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education.
